Parking and Booking Policies

Parking

The Royal Oak Hotel does not have it's own dedicated parking.
We usually advise our guests to park directly behind the hotel as this is free street parking. Spaces clear up around 5pm.
If no spaces are available then short stay and long stay car parks are available.

Booking Policies

Please be aware that the rooms are above a pub which is licensed until 1:00am. On weekends and busy weekdays this may result in excess noise from the bar. We do implement a noise policy where the music is turned off at midnight and make every effort to control behaviour from our customers. We are a member of the local Pub Watch scheme.

Pets are allowed, £5 per dog per stay.
Payments can be made on arrival by cash or debit/credit card with no additional charge.
A valid credit card is required to guarantee the booking.
If the booking is cancelled less than 3 days before arrival then a charge equal to the first night of the stay will be made.
In the event of a no show or booking reduction on the arrival date the full cost of the booking is charged.
Wi-Fi is available free of charge.
Safe at reception.
Infants under 3 are welcome and can share existing bedding free of charge. No cots available so please bring your own.
Children aged 3 - 7 can stay in room for 50% of an adult rate.
Guests older than 7 years are subject to the full adult rates.
Vegetarian and Gluten Free meals are available.
